Midea provides a fast and professional “after-sale” service team throughout New Zealand. Standing by the quality of JH products, we (Midea) offer an industry standard warranties, up to 5 years on selected products.
*For domestic usage, all small appliance come with 1 year manufactures' warranty, all whiteware and kitchen appliances come with 2 years manufactures' warranty.
*For commercial usage, manufactures' warranty period is 6 months on any products.
*Split system heatpump/ air conditioners come with 5 years manufacture's warranty for domestic usage and 2 years manufactures' warranty for commercial usage.
*Consumer Guarantee Act does not apply to commercial usage.
*Warrenty does not cover improper install or usage, " Act of God".
Any service under warranty must be authorised by Shore Home appliances & interiors LTD in advance and be provided by an authorised Shore Home appliances & interiors LTD service agent. All Shore Home appliances & interiors LTD’s goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (‘the ACT”). You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. The benefits conferred under this Midea Appliances warranty are in addition to other rights and remedies available to you under the ACT (see also 8. below). We take serious for every single service jobs under warranty, when you make a claim please have ready the following documents:
Proof of purchase, please attached the receipt/invoice you obtained from the retail store.
Serial number, a unique, identifying number or group of numbers and letters assigned to an individual appliance.
Flooring products Warranty
Seller warrants that if any defect in any workmanship of the Seller becomes apparent and is reported to the Seller within twelve (12) months of the date of delivery (time being of the essence) then the Seller will either (at the Seller’s sole discretion) replace or remedy the workmanship
*The conditions applicable to the warranty given by clause:
(a) the warranty shall not cover any defect or damage which may be caused or partly caused by or arise through:
(I) failure on the part of the Client to properly maintain any Goods; or
(II) failure on the part of the Client to follow any instructions or guidelines provided by the Seller; or
(III) any use of any Goods otherwise than for any application specified on a quote or order form; or
(IIII) the continued use of any Goods after any defect becomes apparent or would have become apparent to a reasonably prudent operator or user; or
(IIIII) fair wear and tear, any accident or act of God.
(b) the warranty shall cease and the Seller shall thereafter in no circumstances be liable under the terms of the warranty if the workmanship is repaired, altered or overhauled without the Seller’s consent.
(c) in respect of all claims the Seller shall not be liable to compensate the Client for any delay in either replacing or remedying the workmanship or in properly assessing the Client’s claim.
For Goods not manufactured by the Seller, the warranty shall be the current warranty provided by the manufacturer of the Goods. The Seller shall not be bound by nor be responsible for any term, condition, representation or warranty other than that which is given by the manufacturer of the Goods.
Midea Online Shop 7-days Return and Exchange Policy
In terms 7-day right of return and exchange policy, customers can return or exchange store-wide products within 7 days after purchasing. The products should be returned unused, in its original condition with packaging, accessories and not affected for re-sell. In terms over 7-days, returns will be charge 6% restocking fees. This only applies for Midea Home Interior Centre and Midea North Shore Online Shop (www.mideahomes.co.nz) with the sole discretion of Midea Appliances
If a customer successfully exchanges products, the warranty will be coordinated with the exchanged ones.
