Electric Heaters for Cosy, Efficient NZ Homes

Keep every room warm through winter with the electric heater range at Midea Homes. The collection covers slim wall mounted panel heaters for bedrooms and living areas, plus a portable convector heater you can move between rooms, so there is a practical option whether you are heating a studio, a family lounge or a home office.

How to choose the right heater

• Bedrooms: a silent panel heater with thermostat control holds a steady overnight temperature without fan noise.
• Living areas: step up to 2000W or 2400W output so the heater can keep pace with larger, busier spaces.
• Flexible heating: a portable convector heater with three heat settings suits home offices, rentals and rooms you only heat occasionally.
• Sizing guide: allow roughly 100W of heating per square metre in a typical insulated NZ room.

Panel models in the range include thermostat control, silent operation and safety overheat protection, and selected models add programmable timers with adaptive start that warms the room before you need it. The portable convector offers 800W, 1200W and 2000W settings with simple mechanical control.

Heating works best in a dry room. Damp air takes more energy to warm and feels colder at the same temperature, which is why many NZ households run a dehumidifier alongside their heater through winter to keep rooms dry, warm and healthy.
